Problem

In 2023, the show rebranded from Tobacco Plus Expo to Total Product Expo to reflect expanded exhibitor categories. Alongside this shift, the challenge was to create a new signage and wayfinding system that felt fresh and engaging while maintaining brand recognition across a large, visually dense trade show floor.

 

Solution

I designed a geometric, modular signage system that introduced a refreshed visual language while retaining familiarity through a consistent look and feel. A bold magenta and deep blue-purple palette, paired with clear typographic hierarchy, allowed the system to scale across formats while remaining cohesive and legible.

Results

The signage unified the show floor and supported clear wayfinding in a complex environment. The modular system scaled across 20 sign types, maintaining cohesion and legibility despite late-stage changes, while reinforcing brand continuity through the rebrand.
