Problem

Lexus needed a photo moment for the Los Angeles Auto Show that felt distinctly local rather than generic. The challenge was to create an activation that captured the spirit of Los Angeles while still aligning with Lexus’s premium brand language.

Solution

I developed a site-specific photo op inspired by Los Angeles’s urban landscape and street art culture. By researching and documenting graffiti and murals across neighborhoods like Venice and the Arts District, I translated real-world scale, texture, and layering into an experiential backdrop that could live authentically within the auto show environment.

 

Results

The photo op became a visually striking, shareable moment that felt unmistakably tied to Los Angeles. By balancing an urban edge with Lexus’s refined aesthetic, the activation delivered a contemporary, authentic experience that stood out on the show floor and reinforced brand presence through place-based storytelling.
